Art for IA

Jérémy Barande, a professional photographer for over 15 years at École Polytechnique, has transformed his passion for imagery into a true art form. Specializing in studio portraiture, he captures the essence of his subjects with a unique sensitivity.

For Jérémy, each shot is a form of visual storytelling, designed to spark curiosity and inspire a desire to learn and understand the world around us. His artistic approach is based on the idea that every image tells a story—a silent narrative that invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the subject’s universe.

With his expertise and keen eye, he continues to captivate and inspire those who cross his path, leaving an indelible mark through his striking portraits.

A graduate of École Polytechnique, Hanna Mergui is an artificial intelligence engineer specializing in the medical field, particularly in prenatal care. Her passion for deep learning led her to co-create the Aixplanation exhibition with Jérémy during her studies.

This innovative photography project aims to make artificial intelligence more accessible to everyone. Initially perceived as an artistic endeavor, Aixplanation has evolved to be presented at conferences and training sessions, skillfully blending art and science.

Through this initiative, Hanna helps raise public awareness of the challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence while fostering an engaging and enriching learning experience. Her approach perfectly illustrates how the interaction between different disciplines can give rise to meaningful projects.
